Hybrid Kitchen

“What’s a hybrid kitchen?” I hear you ask. This kitchen was designed using a mix of standard kitchen cabinetry and one off handmade bespoke pieces to achieve a truly unique design. It was important to the client that most, if not all, the original features were preserved. To achieve this, the work tops were made slightly thinner than usual to allow the original recessed cabinet to remain. The matching island and sliding pocket door allow for a sense of cohesion. Both these, the solid timber worktops and wall hung cabinets in the dining area were hand made by skilled craftsmen. To give the kitchen more character alternative handles were sourced, wide board engineered flooring was specified and beautiful lighting installed.
